Sadly I had to change my 5 star review to a 1 star today. I've been going to this restaurant for the past 8 years and we never ever had a complaint until today. The meat was raw in my pita, the feta on the salad is not the same, the cucumbers were frozen, the calamari was one the best there and now it seems the batter on it has changed. After reading other reviews today I found out the owner has changed... They have definitely cheaped out on the quality of the food, and you can taste the difference immediately. Hope they can get some more training from the previous owner as we still have hope to go back. Below is my review from 3 years ago....
This restaurant is hands down the best Greek in town! We go there or order takeout almost once a week... Craving just keeps coming back! You feel like family when you go eat there. Always greeted and served warmly by the staff.

Absolutely the best restaurant out there!!! Always fresh and hot! I’ve never been disappointed, been ordering from village grec since years and it’s always perfect! Employees are so nice and welcoming. I just love it !! Thank you guys good job
i watched the cooks make our food with their masks under their noses. completely unacceptable
I have been going here for years. Food is good but a bit pricey for the grilled plate and often a long wait. However i saw the most disturbing image( the cook had no gloves on and kept putting his finger in his mouth and tasting the sauces). I was just happy that the sauces weren't used for my meal. Be careful if you go make sure you watch your meal being made. Very unsanitary
