UPDATE - While I still do not recommend Ms Aubry as an Accountant, this review is updated after repeated strong requests from the firm regarding the wording. The "mistakes" referred to were professional oversights, not technical errors.  Unfortunately Ms Aubry lacked the nous to understand my situation and advise accordingly - which I deem to be an important point in Accounting services.  The professional oversights were: #1. She did not ask an important question about my situation or advise of options available to me. #2: She made assumptions about my intentions and filed based on her assumptions. Ms Aubry DID make a technical mistake which could have put me in debt and created future issues.  The mistake was: #1. She told me the wrong amount of tax to pay and when I received a statement for the outstanding amount, she told me the assessment was wrong and to forget it.  Luckily I recognised the error and made a payment - avoiding further issues.  While I did advise her that I found and corrected the error, I never received a reply or apology. Original review - I DO NOT RECOMMEND Ms Raymonde Aubry as an Accountant at all, she did my taxes incorrectly for 3 years. I received almost $10,000 in refunds from provincial and federal taxes after a new Accountant redid my files. Obviously Ms Aubry made large errors which cost me a lot of money and stress.  She also gave bad advice - she advised me to ignore statements from Revenu Quebec, when in fact she had told me the wrong amount to pay them and the money was indeed due.  It is unprofessional and shameful that Ms Aubry accepted my work knowing the situation was complicated - she had no idea that she was making so many big mistakes.  (As a side note, my new Accountant charged 1/3 the amount Ms Aubry charged for the same file).
