Might as well stop for a free, interesting thing to do and a chance to stretch your legs. A sign on the side of the road explains the history of the tree (died in 1970s and had been propped up to be saved). Somewhere I read it’s one of the most photographed trees.
It's cool. Stand and behold a legacy.
Always drove past this tree, finally stopped to check it out and was glad I did. Its story is quite interesting!
