I wanted to leave an honest review for this place because I felt like I had researched a lot before we went and certainly came across some not so great reviews. I felt like quite a few of them were unfair so I wanted to create my own after visiting. -sites toward the back are fantastic if you want a little more privacy and space. I felt like we had ample room in our site (pictured below). -the beach was fantastic. Clean and lots of space. Only drawback is it is quite a bit of a walk even from the parking lot...although, who couldn’t use a walk. -GREAT place for families but that being said this place is buuuusssssyyyyy. However I don’t think its fair to say a place is “noisy or busy” when it’s directed towards family camping...kids are noisy? -the store and restaurant are great, I think it’s super convenient when your camping with kids. -the bathrooms in our loop were flush outhouses...how is that not a win? -in another review I seen, people were complaining about the price. $55 a night in my opinion is not a huge price to pay for water and power. Overall, we had a really great weekend and would certainly go back. I enjoyed the laid back feel of the grounds and all the amenities they had to offer. And of course my kids loved it 😊

Awesome spot for camping with the family. Only downside are the playgrounds. All of the playgrounds are in desperate need of repair or replacement. Hopefully the owners will invest in new equipment as the current ones have loose or visible screws, boards missing and many slides have been removed and boarded up. Other than that, the petting zoo was great, the beach was nice (and not crowded) and the ice cream shop is always a hit!

Little privacy between sites, an extremely confusing layout, poor signage throughout the park, rude management, and cheap owners. They'll try to nickel and dime you every chance they get. As for the younger staff here, they were all excellent. I feel bad that they have to work around a-hole managers here, nobody deserves to be around that. In addition to this, there was basically nothing in place to address the current pandemic. If you stick to your own campsite, You're better off going to a provincial site or heading out to crown land (for free, might I add). If you're coming for the family amenities, I would only recommend doing so if you had no love for them in the first place. All the family-friendly areas were horribly crowded with little to no safety measures in place. Overall, not a pleasant weekend experience. Save yourself some money and go bush camping. Better than visiting the Ol' MacDonald resort and needing a ventilator in a week!

Nice campgrounds. Needs a little maintenance on the sites. Great for kids! One upside is that there are clean washrooms with showers that get cleaned every 2 hours or so.
