I highly recommend Sean for any electrical work. I had more breakers plugs added to run servers at Cochrane Computers. He was on time, professional and a pleasure to talk to while he worked. The wiring is very professional and I will be calling him again with any jobs I have.

I would, and do, recommend Sean and Cochrane Electric to everyone and anyone. We had a tricky project and he really took the time to understand what we needed and fixed a variety of issues for us. We moved a house onto a new foundation in two pieces that had to be put back together and connected to the new basement. We had wires hanging from all over and no idea what they connected to or what they did. Our house had to undergo a new round of building inspections so everything had to be brought up to current building codes and standards. Absolutely everything had been disconnected, taken apart, left in pieces and all mixed up like a jigsaw puzzle - to say the least, not an easy task! We were just lucky that we found Sean who was able to do everything from updating the wiring to fixing the vacuflo. We never felt like he was just rushing to get the project done - he always took the time to ensure that we understood what he was doing and why and so that we understood the basics of how our new house worked. Making sure our house was safe was super important to Sean - definitely not into cutting corners - and even went back and fixed mistakes that previous tradespeople had made. Clearly, he knew what he was doing and was super easy to deal with - for us, as the homeowners, and with our other tradespeople as well. Obviously, you really need to feel like you can trust the person who is dealing with the electricity in your home and Sean is definitely someone you can trust. And when it was all said and done, we found him to be very reasonable and there were no surprises when the bill arrived. I can't imagine using anyone but Cochrane Electric in the future - not only because of Sean's knowledge and experience but because Cochrane Electric is a locally owned and operated family business!

We like to support local businesses and that brought us to Sean. Very glad to have found him. We're in the process of redoing our cabinets and island and Sean was great in patiently providing practical answers to our myriad questions as well as doing the work we needed to get done. Would definitely use his services again and highly recommend him!

I called Cochrane Electrical to investigate why a breaker had faulted on a plug with a fan running. Sean arrived and during his investigation found some un-related issues between two breaker boxes. Further investigation discovered low voltage into the plugs in one area of my older rural home. Turned out to be a very scary and serious problem with part of the building settling and pulling the wiring to the point of failure and shorting around the plug I had the fan running on. Sean discovered the inside of my wall scorched from a recent small fire which burned itself out and could have caused a major house fire. To avoid the hassle and cost of gutting all the drywall and ceiling to replace and inspect the hidden wiring, Sean routed new wiring discretely on the outside of the house and into a utility room. The bonus was a new outside outlet and 2 new security lights. Not to mention the peace of mind of no more shorting inside walls. Sean was professional and fussy about not only his work, but insisted on correcting any sloppy previous work he encountered from those before him. The finished wiring job was first class and done right. The price was very reasonable and fair. I have no problem in recommending him to anyone. In fact I already have to a co-worker who will be re-wiring her basement and a couple of family members needing repairs. Noel Wallace Jumping Pound
