Teachers and educators play a vital role in the lives of children. They help mold young minds and encourage students to challenge themselves on a daily basis. Parents trust teachers to look after their little ones and help them grow to become intelligent, caring people. It’s a job that requires lots of patience, understanding and a lifetime of dedication. With all that they do, it’s only right that we let teachers know how much they are appreciated! In these trying times, I can’t express in words how much effective efforts my second grade child’s teachers Ms. K. Arzt and Ms. T. brooks have put into their online teaching. I have always been appreciative of Cogito but their teaching is no less than anything like that. I truly express my thankfulness to these teachers. They are gems of Svend Hansen School. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

This school is so over crowded, the parking situation outside of the school is absolutely dreadful, and it’s increasingly getting much worse, the streets are getting backed up because people clearly can’t comprehend simple driving tactics... it’s actually insane how out of control the pick up/drop off has become! Do something, it’s clearly a problem, I couldn’t imagine if there was an issue and emergency response needed to get through the drop off/pick up area, maybe you parents should use your heads and realize that there isn’t 3 lanes in the drop off and pick up neither!!!!!

Best school for my kids. Never had any issue.all teachers are fabulous.

Really nice school, haven't had any issues with my son . My only concern atm is they do not celebrate Black History Month which is February 1st. I've asked teachers as well as the after school care my son attends. And their response was "What is that"?? I was in shock!! Yes Majority of the kids are east Indian and white but you do see a a small percentage of blacks. And I've noticed they celebrated Diwali... But missed Black History Month. Why? I feel this is is a topic all schools should be required to teach kids about... Our kids are the future lets educate them!!
