Saint Germain Bakery

This is one of my favorite shop for pastries in British Columbia. I usually shop there once per week. Reasonable price with high quality. Fresh mango cake, walnut pound loaf, dates pastry are my favorites.

My husband had bought Germain chocolate cake last week.m for my birthday. The cake was absolutely delicious. 😍

The baked goods are decent. Everything is sweet

This place has phenomenal cakes and pastries. We tried a fresh mango and a black forest and both were exceptional. They're not achingly sweet and the whipped cream is unsweetened which really brings out the flavor of the cake itself. Most cakes with fruit fall flat because of mediocre unseasonal fruit but here the mango and berries were perfectly ripe and tasty. Other baked goodies and buns looked tempting.

Witnessed a customer drop a product on the floor and because the customer was a health conscious person especially in this pandemic he gave the product to an employee to dispose of. But instead the employee simply looked around for a moment to see if anyone was watching and then put it back on the shelf. Absolutely disgusting.
