Great view good food good service nice pub Has been there for years

The view of the vessels passing by on the Pitt River is highly entertaining. They have a private dock to tie to if you come in by boat. The food exceeded our expectations and the staff is upbeat and friendly. They take everyone's safety very seriously making our visit very comfortable. We will return, maybe with our boat next time, just for the fun of it.

Driving down the 7, this pub caught my eye and I made a note to come back. And my gosh, am I glad I did. Excellent food, (got the New England Clam chowder and the seafood croissant) friendly and personable staff, and last but certainly not least, a beautiful view of the Pitt River meeting the Fraser River. Will definitely be coming back soon, and will be bringing friends!

The up side is that they have a fabulous location right on the water with a nice heated outdoor section to make the most of this. The down side is that if you just want to do a spontaneous drop-in you may not get in. I'm sure the mass majority of regulars are aware of this since I had shown up last week, probably at peek times and was told it would be about 15 minutes, which in pub language means that "we don't know how fast people can move out of here, but we are willing to feed you this line to keep you waiting" anyhow, half an hour later I ran out of patience and found another watering hole 7 minutes away.
