Honey Doughnuts & Goodies

First time here and let me tell you, these blew me right out of the water. I’ve heard positive reviews from everyone I asked, but I did NOT expect these to taste as good as they did. Luckily enough, I ordered right when a fresh batch came out. The dough isn’t overly oily, but has a lovely crisp on the outside with a soft cake-like inside. The icing isn’t overpoweringly sweet, and it compliments the dough perfectly. My favourite out of this batch would be either the maple or cinnamon sugar. I’m only giving it 4(.5) stars because I wish there were more options (I love Boston creams), but other than that, this stop nailed it. Definitely returning soon.

Donuts are great—plain glazed is the best. Our family has been going to Honey's for 20 years. The only bad thing is the service and attitude. You're in a service industry. Treat people nicely with a smile, Try to be Happy. Even if you have to fake it. Life's not that bad :) Power of Positive Thinking.

My 2 favourites from here are the veggie sandwich on sourdough and the maple doughnut, their consistency is outstanding! I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and have always been met with great food and service. Now particularly with the pandemic, I am impressed with how diligent they are with physical distancing and all of the protection installed for their employees and the public. I will continue to come here for as long as it exists. Thank you to the owners and workers who keep it standing during the pandemic, and continue to deliver amazing food and service.

Jesus Christ, the maple donut is like a full meal packed in a fat little donut. It’s somehow heavy and fluffy at the same time. Also if you want something a little less sweet, but is still quite a treat, try the honey glaze. It’s almost equally good, but not as sweet as this future diabetic would prefer. If you like quality and flavour, make the stop here.

Really good donuts! Very fluffy and light, especially for the size of the donut. Tried honey, coconut and maple...all delicious. So good I forgot to take pictures. Staff were doing a great job of managing and moving the socially-distanced line along. Thanks to the City for adding tons of room on the road for a line up. Staff all had some type of mask on. Thank you for keeping everyone safe!
