Genji Japanese Restaurant

Situated in Parkgate plaza, it’s a quaint family run restaurant. Service was similar to sushi California, have to flag our server down for service. Their take out is also very convenient since COVID happened. Everything is always fresh and on point. The prices are a bit higher than sushi California, but given they’re one of three Japanese restaurants on this side of town, I think it’s justifiable. I like their sashimi salad, their sauce is a bit spicy. Prawn tempura is also very crispy and tender shrimp, even when we got it home. Rolls were good portions too, and nigiri sushi was on point. Overall a nice option for this area of town.

Hit and miss, sometimes great but every now and then we get low quality (bad cuts, not fresh, off flavor).

Waitresses are so rude and disrespectful. A restaurant should be a comfortable environment for everyone, if your workers can’t give one fork out and say you should go practice using chopsticks and then laugh at you that’s an issue.

Great food and reasonable price.
