Donair Town

As others have said, don't come here expecting world-class authentic food. I prefer the platters here because their pita bread is always pretty dry (my middle eastern grandmother is rolling in her grave). With the platters you get a ton of meat that's almost always very good, as well as fresh and hot short grain (non traditional) rice, topped with fresh veggies. So basically if you want cheap, filling, and pretty healthy meal, give it a try. The family that runs it have always been very nice but they're clearly not turkish so don't expect authentic food.

Please use traditional Turkish yellow rice and not sticky rice, it just doesn't go with the flavours the same way. All the other Donair towns use the correct rice other than this location. They also don't take the correct amount of time to heat the Donair wraps thourghly. The meat tastes good but a few little changes can make a big difference in the overall quality. please use the correct rice so that each location is similar.

I like to go with friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The meals are fantastic and the crew is efficient and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we pass a splendid time. highly recommended.
