The Valhalla Inn

After living in this town and spending your hard earned money at the pub, the service declines. I would recommend staying anywhere other than this “hotel” seriously, fold out your back seats. The food is terrible and service is worse. Cheap skates.

Excellent service, Great food. We stop whenever we come through and are never disappointed. Especially love the kindness.

After a long day on the road, a large room and comfortable bed. Odin’s pub right upstairs for a friendly bite to eat.

Every year in late summer I spend a couple of days at the quaint and charming Valhalla Inn in picturesque New Denver BC. Over the years the place has steadily improved, maybe not yet perfect, with very appreciable hosts and excellent service. A great place to go, away from glass- and steel-towers in big cities, in an area with clean air and a touch of history.

Old hotel. Smells like dirty deep fryer oil. Food is expensive and meh. Room was as clean as it could be and the bed was comfortable.
