Sprout Bread

Finally tried this cafe upon a friend's recommendation. A new fav :)

Best bread I had in Canada in over 10 years. classic European baking! The dough is moist (high water content) and the baking temperature curve is well timed (great crust). Bread is also baked to a darker colour (caramelization gives flavour!). Bread lasts for days. Also the sprouted bread is very classic and delicious.

Great coffee shop, delicious breads and tasty coffee, all in a unique & relaxing environment. Great spot to enjoy lunch with a group or get some work done in the quite study area upstairs. One other cool feature is the open kitchen, where you can be a witness to how the magic happens. Check out this place, you won't be disappointed.

Best focaccia bread in town

So delicious! My husband and I just discovered this place this year and wow! The food is proper good old fashioned quality and athentic to what one might find in Europe. The bread reminds my husband of a trip with friends 25 years ago and they found a small Italian restaurant with the most delicious homemade bread. Sprout is the first place to create an equal experience:)
