Christ Church Cathedral

Gorgeous yard. Gorgeous church. Loved the Christmas Eve concert/service.

It's where I go to worship. It's attractive as the clergy there have a very high level of learning and scholarship. It's very much NOT the "park your brain at the door, before entering" kind of church. The building is beautiful, and the standard of sacred music is VERY high, and that, too, is attractive.

Even if you cannot go into this church, it is definitely worth seeing from the outside. The old architecture is fascinating and will blow you away. The church stands high above the other buildings and it really adds to the overall beauty and history of the city. Bring a camera because you'll probably want to take some pictures!
