Friendly staff lots of fun for family night out no matter you age

The woman who runs this place was incredibly rude to our group. It was a Friday night. We were trying to surprise our friend for a 40th birthday. He lives around Newmarket and plays indoor baseball in thus area. The plan had been to get him there for 8 and to bowl and socialize before his 11pm game. People came from all over. I came from London just for this. Because he was late (it was a surprise! And there was traffic!), we didn’t bowl or at least didn’t have a chance to start as we were waiting to surprise him. We were not loitering though. People were purchasing alcohol. Maybe three of the lanes were being used. This woman kicked us out shortly after 9pm. On a Friday. Rudely. Saying she was closing. Clearly angry we didn’t bowl. The birthday boy showed up at about 9:04, got to say hi and then we were hustled our. But the league was still going so she couldn’t have closed so we could have stuck around longer and spent more money. But she clearly didn’t care for the patronage. You’d think alcohol sales would be better than nothing. Friends used to use that facility to host bowling fundraisers. You can bet money I will never recommend it. She doesn’t deserve a penny from anyone. If that’s how she treats people. If this review allowed me to put 0 stars, I would. Thank god a bar across the street had no problem with us spending some time there or I’d have wasted 5 hours in a car for nothing. ** I am fine with you being an alley and not a bar. It was the manner in which you spoke to us and treated us. Horrible. Could have been polite and professional instead of downright rude. It was disgusting.

Bowled here for a league this year and I must say, what an awesome place! Very friendly staff, love the retro bowling including the free fall pins. Will definitely be going back next season :)
