Humble Roots Cafe & Deli

Taste of the big city in the sticks. We live in Burnaby, but they are definitely worth driving out to enjoy. Their food is wholesome, flavourful, and ultra comforting. They do some creative dishes there and even offer some vegan options which is nice for our vegan friends. The service and staff were all super and they were even very catering to my kids. The bathroom was really clean and they had excellent Covid-19 standards in place. If you get lucky, you can even get a glimpse of the horses across the street. Love it here. Will go back time and again. It is an absolute gem to the city of Maple Ridge.

Went for breakfast this morning. Had the most delicious Eggs Benedict with a latte. It was a very busy little place, so be prepared to wait or get takeout (they only have 4 tables). But trust me, it is well worth the wait! They have sooo many options for vegan/vegetarian and a yummy selection of baked goods. I highly recommend, I will be back!

Fantastic food great service. I went there with my immediate family member (my wife), and we had the restaurant to ourselves. They were very Covid concerned and safe. Partitions everywhere, and always wearing masks as well as insisting the guests wear masks when not at their seats. The food we had was of great quality. I would go back in a heartbeat.

A nice, quaint place with really tasty food. Their breakfast meals are amazing, and the sandwiches are tasty too. The only thing is that they are definitely very interested in being "artisanal" if that makes sense, so if you're looking for a classic diner style place, this might not be for you. I'd still recommend checking it out though!

Lots of cute waitresses, but the service was less attractive - took about 30 minutes to get two orders of eggs on toast, and they forgot to deliver the coffee we ordered. The menu is heavy on the traditional fried foods and meats.
