Golden Ears General Store

I picked up a large dark roast coffee at the General Store this morning and enjoyed it very much. This is a great little shop with everything you’d want from a convenience store. It’s always so sparkling clean, the coffee is always fresh and their homemade cookies are exceptional. Best of all is the friendliness of the people who work here. Always smiling and cheerful, they make everyone feel welcome. It’s really a lovely store.

If you get a ticket for eating at Roots, try reading the signs. It's the Dog Shop and Convenience store parking, not Roots. Maybe ask the owner of Roots to pay your ticket. Better a ticket than being towed.

Dropped into this place for the first time today to check it out . The sign out front saying they had UK treats piqued my curiosity ! Have to say was impressed by the level of friendliness and also the selection of snacks that I was craving ! Will be back for sure .

Normally I wouldn’t write a bad review but my boyfriend and I just parked in the parking at the groomers which is closed because of COVID. Normally we grab a pop from the store and go for a walk to see the horses. Today I just had some apples to give away to the horses across the street. When we came back the guy from the store told us we would be towed next time. I don’t think I’ll go back again.

Buying experiences with this store was all very good, the attendants were all so warm welcoming the people. Small store but pretty much all variety are there, parking is sufficient.
