Janice Cake Shop

Very poor customer service. My friend ordered the cake and advised we have the VIP card with 10% discount. When we picked up the cake this afternoon, the girl at the cashier just saying nothing but the full price, after we paid and questiond the discount, her face is become black and said, no discount if you don't said you have the card. I asked her why you did not check the order when we picked up the cake. She simply said, no, I did not check the paper. Be more friendly and treat your customer right, Janice Cake Shop! This is worse customer service. There are more than 60 Chinese bakery all across lower mainland here!

Tarts are quite good - egg tarts, esp coconut tarts! But other items are a mixed bag. The coconut bread perhaps too much yeast, you can smell the faint hint of alcohol. The 綠豆酥was lumpy and dry.

I highly recommend their durian cake! They give you chunks of it in between layers of their soft sponge. Their sponge is not overly sweet so the fruit can really shine!

I’ve been going to Janice cake shop for so many years I can’t even remember. The staff there is very friendly and their bun selection is amazing. Their cake and bun quality are top notch too.

I have tried many Asian bakeries in Richmond and Vancouver. Janice Cake shop, is by far the BEST place for cakes. Their mango cake is so fresh and fluffy, yet still satisfying your sweet tooth! All of the cakes I have tried taste of high quality and you can tell they use the best ingredients!
