Banff Visitor Centre

We showed up with no plan other than to explore. Oh and to get a park permit. These staff were amazing and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I'll definitely come in to see these wonderful people again next time I visit.

Bought my visitors pass here and also a can of bear spray which was very convenient to not have to shop around town for one. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Electric car charging in the parking lot also.

Astonishing place. So beautiful we can't exactly describe. Majestic and magical.

The only reason we went here was to ask which hikes were closed before we drove to them (because of Covid & time of year a few hikes in the area were closed or limited). We were told that all of the hikes on the map we were given were open. As soon as we arrived at one of the hikes it was obviously closed with large signs saying a 25,000$ fine would be given to anyone found in violation. Too bad the visitor Center wasn’t aware of the trail closure... as we wasted 45 minutes or so because of coming here.
