YWCA Banff Hotel

There's this great looking cozy lounge room. with a fireplace they use for advertising. which is why I booked here over other hostels. It isn't open to the public. The tiny common room smells like beer and farts and the rooms are very sparse. There is no ambiance to this place to feel relaxed after a full day outside. But it's clean just has a very prison vibe. You can hang out at a metal table in the basement hallway cuz hey that's fun right..

We had double private room with private washroom. Hotel's set up is like a hostel. They also provide 1 bed sharing with common washroom. We paid little bellow $100. It was totally worth it. Room was small but it was very clean. Hotel is so close to town so its easily accessible. They do not provide breakfast, only coffee and tea. I would totally go again if I can get really clean rooms with low cost.

My friend and I stayed in a private room that had two double beds and a private bathroom. I paid $118 after taxes for 3 nights which in Banff was a very good deal. The room was very spacious and pretty clean, and the floors were not carpet which I liked. There were also two sinks which was useful. The only things I didn't like was the fact that I could hear footsteps from the floor above me (sounded like 50 children running and moving furniture) and the water in the shower kept spazzing and changing from hot to cold very suddenly. One thing to note was that we didn't use any of the hotels amenities other than the room and free coffee in the morning, so this is solely just based on that. Overall worth the price in my opinion.

The property is located close to town and the views are great. Nice rooms as advertised. Comfortable bed. There was free Wifi provided. Plenty of free parking surrounding the hotel. The front desk was professional, the room was perfectly fine, and spacious.

My room was simple, only a bed, desk, nightstand. The view was amazing. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the quietness, even though I had to leave the window open all night (no AC). For a room in Banff, the price was reasonable. I recommended this hotel to everyone I came in contact with and will definately stay here again.
