Banff Aspen Lodge

Visited Banff in January and stayed here for 2 nights. The staff at Banff Aspen Lodge were wonderful, they gave us a room upgrade and delicious welcome cookies as we were honeymooning. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The hot tub area was definately the highlight, it was also clean and the towels well stocked. Breakfast staff were great, they really took time to chat with us and offered suggestions on what to do and where to go. The food was plentiful with a lot of selection, perfect way to start the day before heading out on our winter adventures. Would definitely stay here again!

Good hotel - breakfast was tasty but does have the majority of the same food each day but didn't have too much of an issue with this as there was plenty of options to rotate around. Rooms were nice and the hot pools were amazing.

The good: the rooms were adequately furnished and relatively spacious. The hot tubs and saunas were very nice. The in house coffee shop was great. The bad: the beds were god awful. There isn’t a bar or restaurant on site. No biggie as there are plenty close by. The ugly: our room reeked of smoke odor to the degree we (family of four) couldn’t sleep. The front desk was unable to help every after three complaints.

Really enjoyed our stay! Spacious room with a comfortable sitting area, good lighting throughout the room, delicious breakfast, bathrobes, and nice hot tubs. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for a week in December and used it as a base to go skiing nearby. The hospitality was wonderful, and I really enjoyed the hot tub. It was also affordable and very conveniently located. If I return to Banff I would absolutely stay here again!
