Rochon Sands Provincial Park

Although there was an fecal warning a couple weeks prior. The lake looked really clean no lake bugs and algea lots or tiny schools of fish. Gmcsmpground looked really nice I'd like to go back someday to camp. $2 or $1 person for day use I cant remember.

Sandy beach, bathrooms, changing rooms, shower to rinse feet, park, ice cream shack. Great spot to hang with the family. Water is a decent temp for swimming. Can get busy in the summer but you can always find a spot to sit.

Surprisingly warm lake water. Fairly clear and quite large. A quiet spot compared to other near by lake spots like sylvan or pigeon. parking very close to the beach, and washrooms. Bugs were really bad when we went out there, probably fish flies. If you want to spend all day by the beach side i recommend bringing big spray or maybe a pop up gazebo with a bug net or something.

Not very big sandy beach with some geese/bird poo, washroom, fresh water, fun for kids (mine played in the sand, didn’t swim cuz water wasn’t as clean as had hoped)

Great tiny little beach - but this place is so far off the beaten track that even on a sunny Saturday afternoon in August we shared it with only a few other families. A hidden gem.
