Sorrentino's Stony Plain

Waitress was heavily stressed. Floor manager was critical of her publicly in front of customers. Service was extremely slow despite location having many empty tables. Doubtful I will visit again. Tried this establishment again this evening. Sat ourselves at our table as per the instructions from the male greeter at the door who was busy with his iPad. Waited 15 minutes for service and received none. As we got up to leave the greeter came to us and said "Thank you". He had no clue we had not been served despite the restaurant being fairly empty. I would not recommend this place, nor will we attempt to try again. Our money went elsewhere this evening.

My sweetie took me here as a surprise for my Birthday. Neither of us have been there before and were very pleasantly surprised! Its the 1st time in a year we had a date kid free. We sat in the lounge. It was quiet, romantic and service was WONDERFUL!!! The food was the BEST Italian food I have ever had. We started with Calamari. The batter was light, it was REAL Calamari not the chewy pre-battered rings. It melted in your mouth!!! My man had the seafood risotto which was to die for!!! I had Veal cannelloni again Ive never tasted such perfection in a plate!!! We were way too full for desert!! This is a MUST return place in the future!!!

Plastic electric candles and microwaved pasta with a pretentious attitude and setting. They hold reservations for at least 3 hours before the people show up so it seems busy but it’s empty and you get awful seating then serve you microwaved food. Trying to fool the small town clients into thinking a chain restaurant is upscale

Sorrentino's is by far the best place for a great meal in Stony Plain. The management and staff will treat you well every time. Say hi to Glen the manager. He is always there and will go out of his way to make sure you have a good experience.
