Big Knife Provincial Park

What a nice place to visit. Natural prairie habitat in a wide scenic valley. The Battle river meanders through leaving oxbow lakes full of waterfowl and beavers. There’s two decent trails and lots of wildlife and great views. The park has a boat launch, campground and a day use area. The facilities were clean and maintained. I recommend stopping and exploring for a day.

Surprisingly scenic with lots of very well maintained hiking trails. The campground is very well maintained. It is dry camping so you'll get people running their generators at annoying times on the weekend. All in a very nice place to overnight or spend a couple days.

Loved it. Sunny day. Quick trails. Nice stream but wish there was a spot where we could fish but slope is too big. Nonetheless a nice park with lovely benches to sit
