The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Amid COVID-19 and everything, this is one of the few places that I've found peace, joy, and comfort. The spirit that was felt when I came on Sunday was indescribable. The people of this congregation made it great as well. They made me feel welcomed and wanted and made it feel like I had been there 100 times before. Love this church and everyone that goes with it!

Went for a funeral today(lovely service, thanks to Webber Memorial) Decided to try the butternut squash soup at the light lunch. My commute to Edmonton from tofield was pure torcher. My grieving was suddenly interrupted by some severe stomach cramps and and ever increasingly nauseated feeling. By the time I arrived home I didn't even have time to remove my shoes, before vomiting on the floor at the door. The next few steps towards the toilet, resulted in a projectile vomit that completely covered my kitchen cabinets and floor. If that wasn't enough, I slipped in the puddle and broke my toe. Was just thankful I reached the tiled bathroom, so the force of the vomiting could release my bowels at the same time and clean up wouldn't be too terrible. 😠 Sobs over the toilet, full of pain, grief, and utter disgust, is how I spent my afternoon. It's been seven hours of pain so far, and this hurts more than the emotions felt by the family at that church today. Exponentially. I hope gramma didn't eat the soup. She's far too frail to endure this kind of pain.
