I recently purchased a reptile and had a fabulous experience with the staff! I would like to specifically mention Izzy and Jaq. These two readily shared SO much knowledge with me and their passion was palpable! I felt very comfortable taking my new pet home even though I am new to reptile ownership. Our pet is happy and we know she is well cared for because of the advice we received from the staff here. I recommend coming chatting with Izzy and/Jaq about reptiles as they are very well-versed in reptiles. Very impressed!
Large and plenty of products to choose from. Good prices for what I needed. Staff was kind and I enjoyed it enough to get myself a petland card!
The store is clean and has things for all sorts of animal companions. The directional arrows on the floor (pandemic related) could be more visible. I didn't find everything I was looking for. I would like to see more Canadian-made products. I was looking for Puppy-Love brand and they don't seem to carry thst. If they do, I couldn't find them.
Bought 3 large marrow bones this weekend and when I opened one of them, powder fell out everywhere full of bugs. Called store to advise and suggested removal of the boucherie bones. I was not offered an apology nor a refund and seemed pretty obvious the young lady I spoke do didn't plan to do anything.
Be careful when you check out - watch the price on the till because its probably not what was on the rack. I bought a collar for my puppy yesterday. Price on stand 18.97, price at till 20.97. I saw the difference and told the clerk who said it must have been in the wrong spot. My wife went back to the rack and confirmed it should be 18.97. Clerk didn't care and asked if I still wanted it at 20.97.
