Bucky's Taphouse

Had I beleive the road house burgar, it was fantastic. It appeared and tasted as if it was made by hand so that was an automatic 5 stars. The drinks, I had a spiced rum and coke, beleive it or not a lot of bar tenders screw this up. It was perfectly mixed. The atmosphere even during covid was bustling and fun. Listening to the other patrons stories made this place seem like your small town road house. 5/5 recommend.

A bit disappointing on our first visit back since the plague. Tables and chairs had been removed for Covid 19, which made the room much noisier. A few extra temporary soft items on the walls would have alleviated this? Despite it being a busy lunchtime there was only one server to look after the whole room and the outside patio. She was really flying! What made it worse was that there were TWO sometimes THREE guys behind the bar. I noticed just ONE occasion when one of them helped the server in the hour we were there. To top it all off, there was a much reduced menu, which may be permanent , our favourites were gone, and for the first time ever, my meal was very disappointing!

No one wore a mask. No one was social distancing and the place was crowded. Scary!

Bucky’s is the perfect little tap house and home away from home. It is an atmosphere one could expect from a local pub but better. (If you’re into good food, great times and better service) forsure it can definitely be found full of laughs and even at the best of times a little loud when the house is full but that’s what I’d only ever hope for and expect out of a popular local establishment. Especially on a music bingo or karaoke night. All around 1 of a kind experience to just get out of the house and enjoy oneself.

I had hot wings and they were very good but my companions ordered The Ronnie. That looked even better so going to try it out next time.
