COBS Bread Bakery

I hardly ever leave reviews but this was the worst quality cinnamon bun I've had in terms of the wrapper / liner being baked right into the dough of the bun! I'm so surprised since they always had great cinnamon buns. Perhaps it's a new employee who needs a lot more training?! It ruined my appetite.

Cobs bread are not only the best for their taste, but also for their staff. We were home after a daily trip to cobs bread when we heard a knock on the door. We opened it to see a gentleman - Warren Fergus, the manager from Cobs in Royal Oak. He made the trip to bring us the wallet we forgot at his branch. Can you believe it? This truly is a reflection on any of the stores he manages. We hardly have the words to express our deep and sincere gratitude to Warren and the rest of the amazing people at the Royal Oak's Cobs in a Saanich.

I usually like going to COBS bread and I also enjoy their food but today was different. I went to COBS wanting to get 6 pieces of scone but the guy behind the counter only gave us four, I would assume that he was not paying attention to what I was telling him. He did not clarify the order and he also gave us the smallest piece of scone (the strawberry passion fruit scone); we payed 2.70 for it and not asking for it for free.

Usually I enjoy Cobs. Today I was given the wrong order and overcharged $5.50. When I pointed it out I got the response that whoops it was a misunderstanding. No offer to fix it. No offer to refund the over charge. They just stood there and waited for me to take my order and leave. I asked to speak to a manager and there wasn’t one. So I was forced to take my wrong order that I overpaid for and leave.

Although some of there products are a little bit higher priced, the quality is very good. The staff are very attentive and you can get in and out quite quickly.
