Birthday celebrations for my wife and her best friend born two days apart. we were treated with class and great attention to detail. Meal was incredible - we all had prawns and pork belly. Amazing.

Definitely one of the most significant restaurants on the island in all kinds of way. Large and bright hall; lovely, gentle and professional services; artistic plates and perfectly cooked dishes(especially steak); decent price and amount of food, what more you could expect for a memorable dinner? Guests could choose hall or yard seats depending on your own mood. Average $40-$60 per guest. Dishes are very surprising no matter the quality, expression or amount. You can taste the details in flavor as well. I would claim that it is very competitive even with a lot restaurants in the higher price range. Strongly recommend for at least one visit.

One of the best restaurants in Victoria! Had an incredible experience, ordered the 3 course menu and it well exceeded my expectations. The portion sizes were generous, superb plating and all the courses were delicious. Amazing value and service, can not recommend highly enough!

This restaurant is MORE than 5 Stars. Many people said other places to go for a nice dinner date out such as Glo, Nautical Nellie's, The Keg, Finns, I'll Terrazzo, etc. They all sound amazing and we did make reservations for 2 of those places a couple nights before but when we found this place via Google, and after looking at the photos and menu, we thought "let's give this a try". My husband is from Germany and the ambiance felt and looked like Germany and it was like home to him. I was skeptical at first and second guessed (only because I'm not good at trying new places) but oh am I sure glad we did! The Ambiance was romantic and comforting, the menu had many options, the wine list was endless, the service was top notch and the food, my oh my....was to DIE FOR. We started off with the oysters, my husband had the pork belly and I had the flat iron steak. I took the brownie dessert home as the food was filling and oh so good. Guarentee we will be coming back here more thans than we can count AND recommending this place to EVERYONE. Fireside Grill, you rocked it and glad to have found this wonderful place. My son, his wife and their 2 year old son joined me here for dinner. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed. The wait staff was friendly and helpful - non intrusive, yet available. - made some informed comments about their wines. Food was very tasty and we all enjoyed the experience.
