Poached eggs with hash browns, toast, avocado and lime chilli beans. Attentive servers, nice and clean restaurant, great experience!

It’s definitely got a lovely decor and our waitress was wonderful but I just had to tell you about the quality of the “rotisserie chicken” that is available in many of the dishes - it was dry, chewy, and smelled vaguely old. The waffle was also exceptionally crispy and didn’t have that nice gourmet flavour that this dish deserves. Yikes. I was so disappointed considering the long wait time. I don’t like to criticize but I just had to share.

The food was fantastic as always. The waitress was great very attentive. The Host was kind of okay. The parking for people with disabilities not good there parking for the restaurant not good. Wheelchair accessibility it did have a ramp but the electronic door wasn't working. Washroom accessibility not good. Not good because it's downstairs in the basement. No room to move Walker. A lot of stairs to go down. The shared lobby with the restaurant and the cafe was nice and clean. I had to wait 45 minutes for a table for two. Was not happy that I was told I couldn't have a coffee while I was waiting in the lobby. So the only thing that was really good about this place was the excellent food in the portion size was fantastic.

First off a waitress that treated us like an interruption rather and opportunity to be great at looking after a customer. The Eggs Benedict had a sauce that was minimal and tasteless. The bacon was rock hard making it impossible to cut through without having it all fall apart. Coffee, and we love coffee, was about the worst we've ever had. Very acidic to begin with and nothing special to finish. There are so many good coffees available that to use his one is shameful. Root Cellar uses the same unpleasant tasting brand. The second waitress we had was pleasant and treated us well. There are way better places to have breakfast in Victoria. Too bad. Gene

Fantastic food, it came fast, and hot, and was i delicious. The service was also really good, fast, and polite. I will definitely be back! I had the duck confit waffles and they were amazing, worth the price and very filling. They were liberal with the coffee pouring and it was a tasty brew. See you again soon Ruby!
