Fox and Hounds

This is, hands down, the best British pub in the middle of Vancouver Island. From the atmosphere to the food and drink, this is *the* place to be on the weekend or any weekday alike. For a special treat, order a pint of Munich Gold and the bangers and mash (two sausages). Both arrive perfect—hot, delicious, and flavourful—time and time again. I should also note that the restaurant observes pandemic precautions to the letter, from the servers wearing masks to proper distancing and sanitizing procedures. I love this place and you will too!

I love this place.. don't get me wrong, but I'd have to win the lottery to be able to afford coming here again. I realize things have changed this year and prices are going to go up, but DOUBLE on most things, totally outrageous and beyond comparable to other pubs/restaurants current pricing. Now you are just gouging people.

Super nice people that work there , very well run and organized. The food was really good, we had a wonderful time! I would highly recommend checking it out. Thanks for making my mom's birthday enjoyable!

Always a great lunch here and it was the same experience again today. Fullers London Pride was delicious. Roast beef dip is one of my go to items here and never disappoints. Careful with the horseradish it'll clear your sinuses no problem. Service is excellent - always prompt friendly and efficient. The bar manager is so pleasant and welcoming. Definitely a place not to miss.

The food is the very best homemade pub fare I've had to date! Try the steak and mushrooms pie! Our server was warm and welcoming, knew the menu item details and made our dining experience an exceptionally great one! Cheers!
