We love this little restaurant! It is in the sweetest building with such a nice atmosphere and the most delicious food to. Chef Lauren takes a lot of care in sourcing quality ingredients from local farms.

Staff were so nice and accommodating. My salad and quiche were so delicious and so pretty looking. Can tell they really know how to compliment flavors. Also the place itself is decorated so cute

We visited on Friday August 7/20 for a quick lunch. We had read all the reviews and Lauren’s website and were looking forward to an above average experience. Unfortunately this was not the case. Ordered a cappuccino , lemon tea cake and pesto macaroni and cheese. The cappuccino was weak and barely lukewarm. Waited 20 minutes for macaroni and cheese and while it had nice flavour, it was barely warm, like someone stirred it in a pot a couple times. Not oven hot with bubbly cheese on top. Cake had a nice flavour but it was dry and probably a day old. No one came to ask about our meal at the table or on our way out. Really disappointed that a restaurant with such good reviews, couldn’t manage the basics of serving hot fresh food/ beverages or quality check with the customer

Loved it. Just had roast beef sandwich Simply amazing. Beautiful place with super star chef and staff.

Probably the best quiche ive ever tried! Amazing local Vancouver Island and BC wine list, lots of low intervention wines to choose from. Clubhouse sandwhich was the real deal and sooo good! Also had the salad which I added a perfectly seared rare tuna to it. Super fresh locally sourced ingredients shine... Been there for a chefs dinner too, and that was a real treat! Chef Lauren is extremely talented and very skilled, you can tell! What a gem on the island!!!
