Church's Chicken

I've been going to this location for a very long time and it use to be very good. But the past year it has just been a down hill spiral. Tonight will be the last time I visit this location, I rather drive a little further to get a better experience. To start, this location had two staff that did not wear masks properly. As food handlers, it's expected that they follow safety rules amidst this pandemic. They had their masks worn under the nose. They continuously kept taking orders which cause a mass of people gathered inside to wait for their orders. Needless to say, the thought of social distancing became not possible. Now to the food, the gravy was water. There was no consistency, it was gravy that had been thinned out by water. Due to that reason, there was no flavor. The chicken was extremely salty for some reason. As a franchise, you figure the food would be the same throughout, but no. Disappointment is the only word I have now.

Fast and delicious.

I bought 4 piece chicken and 3 of them were stale with sour taste and weird smell on the meat. I don't think ill each churches ever again ..... Edit: bought a second time after couple months and got food poisoning.. Seriously avoid

Just ordered some chicken. No thighs available only wings. Got chicken tenders instead. Big mistake. One piece was half the size of the other 4 and the other 4 were a little bigger than a chicken nugget from mcdonalds 14 dollars for all that. I have never been disappointed with churches but tonight was the worst. Not only that but the tenders were cold, fries were not full and seemed like it was sitting for a very long time as they were super dry and not even warm. I also ordered a gravy and it was cold too. I had to microwave the entire meal when I got home. I live less than 3 min away. Oh yeah I waited for about 4- 5 minutes before they realized I was at the window wanting to order. This experience was beyond disappointing.

Growing up, this Church's chicken location has always been my family's go to restaurant after church. They always serve fresh chicken and fries and the employees are friendly. This location is smaller compared to others but they have never disappointed me.
