Dickey M & Sons Ltd

I waited 2 weeks for a soffit receptacle to be installed under the peak of the carriage house roof. I had explained it on the phone when I called them. They were supposed to come by yesterday, but they never showed up or called. This morning I get a call that they will be by. They sent an electrician by in a car. This electrician said that he was told that he did not need a ladder as it was a garage soffit plug. The electrician said that he had to get a ladder and would be back. An hour later, the electrician said that his boss thought that it would be a quick job, but it would take two or three hours. Then the electrician said that his boss said that they were busy with a big job and wouldn't be able to do the job. I waited almost 2 weeks and this is how they treat a customer? This business does not care about their customers and they have no integrity. Avoid this company like the plague!

I called Dickey M & Sons to see if I could get an electrical outlet repaired and also two kitchen ceiling pot lights replaced asap, on a condo going up for sale in a couple days. I spoke with Tim, the Manager, who was very kind and helpful. He said that he could possibly have one of his employees stop by that very day. I was contacted by Monty shortly thereafter, who stopped by to do the repairs. He completed the work quickly and professionally, and he was a very pleasant person to deal with also. I would highly recommend calling Dickey M & Sons for any electrical repairs.

Had them in to install some fans and lights. Good service. Requested a quote for additional work and they never got back to me. Not sure why.

This is one of those local businesses that always provides more value than you pay for. Tim always takes whatever time is necessary to discuss any of the projects we have worked on together. Work is on time and always inside of quoted costs. The team of people at Dickeys have been long term and know electrical well. This is also a unique business that is willing to take on many projects outside of the ordinary. They take care of everything from design, sourcing, delivery, install. This makes my job easy. We need more businesses like Dickeys in Chilliwack.

I went to their shop to have the cord repaired on an electric heater and they replaced the cord and vacumed the heater, all at no extra cost!
