Bánh Mì Très Bon

I'm writing this review mostly to warn others when the owner tells you just tap on the machine, do not do so blindly, as she may be adding a giant tip to the bill. Our family have been ordering takeout from this place about once a week for the past couple of months, its convenient since it's a block away from our home, and the food is pretty tasty, although not exactly cheap what it is. During my last take out order, the owner decided to slap an 18% tip onto the bill without my consent. My order was $58, so the tip was $10! Usually the bill pops up on the machine, and you have the choice of tipping, and proceeding w/ the transaction. But this time, the owner lady just told me to "tap it". So not thinking anything of it, I did so as told. It was only after I went home and looked at the bill I realized she added an 18% tip. I know restaurants are struggling these days, but this is no way to treat customers or anyone for that matter. This is truly lowest of the low. Obviously I will not be returning to the restaurant. It's disappointing to see people acting this way in times when we should come together, and not stealing from each other.

What an interesting place! It looks like a café on the inside.. reminds me of a pastry shop with their turquoise walls and bright macaroons.. however it’s a Vietnamese restaurant? I feel like the concept is confusing but the food was delicious! It was pretty busy given it was a Friday afternoon

Excellent food and I was impressed by their online ordering and pickup process which made the process very easy.

Very different from what I'm used to. I ordered the sandwiches which tasted good but didn't feel Vietnamese but more like a traditional sandwich. It was good don't get me wrong but I prefer the subs you can get from the holes in the wall type stores. It's about 10 bucks a sandwich here. I would definitely give it another go!

Best pho in richmond, hands down. I typically make the drive out just for their Bone marrow soup and pork spring rolls. The broth is so densely packed with flavour and their sides are all on point. The place itself has a great aesthetic, definitely a great date spot. Only draw back would be their higher price points, but personally I believe it is worth the price to taste.
