Rusty's Neighbourhood Pub

Went here a week or two ago and their GM was walking around talking to people without a mask. The menu can be pretty good depending on who's cooking, though my usually made-to-order crispy jalapenos were inedibly stale and I found out they were made 2 days prior. My main concern though is that if the General Manager doesn't take the pandemic and its appropriate safety measure seriously, how am I to expect the rest of his staff to be taking it seriously either? I am disappointed. I may be back after the pandemic but I think I'll avoid this place till then. Edit: If I didn't see it, I wouldn't have said anything. Though you wore it a majority of the time, you were talking to your staff by the end of the bar with no mask on, and as far as I'm concerned there's no excuse to be taking it off to talk to people for any length of time if you're concerned with the safety of your guests and staff, whether it's muffling your voice, or you're wrapping up your shift and you just want to touch base with someone for a minute, or any other reason. Particularly if you are setting an example as a leader. If we want restrictions for businesses to be lifted sooner instead of drag on, we should all treat our potential to spread the virus very personally. Act as though you have it. I could go on, but a list of precautionary measures means little to me if masks aren't being worn properly. They're a deal-breaker.

Food is quite good especially for bar food. Service is average but decent. If you are looking for a quick lunch and a beer I strong suggest stopping by. I wouldnhave given it 5 stars but the level of service received is just OK. The when I get to you attitude is a bit to deal with. Still I would return without hesitation.

Had a great time watching Canuck's game 7 here with a good crowd and friendly staff. The plate of perogies I ate was delicous the best out I have enjoyed in a very long time. Perfect crispy homemade baccon crumbs with sauted peppers and onion... yummm!

We happened to come on the second day of their new menu. We like it! I had the Clubhouse sandwich with a salad and we also had the zucchini sticks and a glass of Rickards Red. The Rickards was on tap and was fabulous. The zucchini sticks were obviously from scratch. The Clubhouse was HUGE! The bacon on it was thick sliced and fresh cooked. The turkey was roasted in house and sliced just right, and there was plenty of it. I had it on Rye. It was fantastic! The salad was fresh and large. Very tasty! We will be back!

The spicy chicken club came like a hamburger but it was delicious and huge. Fish and chips also very good.
