Service was good but the roast sandwich was ice cold, very disappointing.

The food and menu used to be really wonderful, tasty, and well-made. Over the last three years the food and service has been on a steady decline. Conversely and without reason, the menu has also gradually become more on the expensive side. They used to have a fantastic rotating craft beer selection several years ago. However a while back they stopped rotating the taps and have had a very mediocre selection since. Even though we live close and would eat here most weeks after practice, we have stopped going here. Better selection of craft beer and better food at many other local spots for sure.

Went to the pub today (October 17,2020) and the first person we encounter was the insolent skinny girl with long brown hair. Displayed unprofessionalism by yelling at us where we can sit and would not properly direct us upstairs when asked how we can get there. She literally yelled at us to go straight and we will.see some stairs while waving her arm wildly. There is a sign saying seat yourself and it is a large restaurant so it is hard to know where to start looking for available seating as there are two separate rooms upon entering. All smiles when we were leaving but left a lasting first impression and would not returning. As far as pandemic measures, they definitely fail. First of all, there is a sign saying "seat yourself" which allows for people to meander all around in search for a table, most patrons were not wearing masks upon entering when we got there. 2. They allowed for seating for more than 6. There was a table of probably 10 and they were really loud, about same age and definitely not from the same family. A reputable restaurant would allow for 6 maximum. 3. The upstairs allowed for people to move around and purchase pull tabs or get CASH from the machine. We, unfortunately, chose a table by the pull tab machines not knowing it was still in service. I think they should not place a table where people will use a machine. No one cleaned the machines after use or had hand sanitizers by any of the machines. Not a lot of preventive measures taken. Above acts were the ones I saw, I would wonder what happens behind the scene.

This place has been consistently good and has recently added a family seating area! Live music some nights helps add to the already lovely atmosphere! Love the look and feel of the place.
