Tofino Yoga

I did outdoor yoga at the Botanical Gardens with Tofino Yoga today (beach yoga was relocated due to rain) and thoroughly enjoyed it. The poses and flow were challenging but also relaxing and stretching, and I got to gaze out at the gardens while enjoying the practice. There was a goat and a chicken coop nearby the yoga hut and listening to the animals and the rain while practicing added a certain charm and authenticity.

Excellent morning beach class hosted by Dede! Felt relaxed and ready to start my day! Tofino yoga does a great job making sure everyone is safe concerning COVID-19. Mats are cleaned and sanitized before and after class. Reduced class sizes make it easy to physically distance while still being able to hear the instructor. Dede did a fantastic job guiding us through the session. Fit for a beginner through advanced using modified positions. Felt very comfortable through the whole experience.

Amazing classes and unique locations! My friend and I just visited Tofino, luckily just as yoga classes were starting up again. Our teacher Dede took extra cleaning measures to create a safe environment. Last year we had joined some morning classes on Mackenzie Beach, and this year because of the rain we had a chance to practice in the barn at the Botanical Gardens next to the goats and roosters. A great way to start the day/warm up before surfing, and the restorative class was relaxing after a day of exploring. We can’t wait to visit again and try the SUP yoga!

Attending classes outdoors, both on the beach and at the beautiful botanical gardens, was an extra unique opportunity that really added to my Tofino vacation experience! All the classes I attended were of exceptional quality. I alsoappreciated mats being provided as well as thoughtful considerations of timely sanitation and social distancing considerations that made practicing in these times possible.

Had the pleasure of attending one of the beach yoga classes on vacation and really loved it! Great views and amazing instruction. We do yoga regularly and The instructor was one of the best we have ever had!
