If you are looking to be ignored, talked over, up sold, and treated without a modicum of empathy or human decency, during an inherently sensitive and sacred time in your life, this is the place for you. I found myself genuinely disturbed and perplexed by the treatment my partner and I received on behalf of the owner, Kent. My partner and I are younger (late 20s/early 30s) which is maybe the reason we found ourselves routinely interrupted, ignored and condescended to. During a painful and challenging chapter in our lives, where a modest amount of compassion goes a long ways, we did not find it here.

Very professional and well run business. The two owners genuinely let you know they care and will make sure everything is in order. Very compassionate and they know how to handle people who have suffered recent losses.

As a volunteer with Kitty Cat Prevent a Litter Society, and a companion to an elderly lady who ADORES her cats, I am so happy to know that Comox Valley Funeral Home thinks of the animals! Working alongside them to ensure beloved cats will have a future in a time of sadness and disruption warms my heart.
