Scotiabank

Went into the bank to pay two car loans off. They cant pay one for some reason, suggest I go in in person to pay it off... in Mississauga. Next car loan they pay off from my checking account or so they said. What they actually did was pay Telus. Now my money is lost in limbo, holding up a mortgage approval for which they offer no help. Scotiabank online and on the phone is great. But there is nothing about this branch that comes even close to competence.

Worst bank I have ever dealt with. Now I understand why all my family and friends closed their accounts. Double hip replacement, and there is fraud in my account, can't get in to close the account but now there is $100 NSF fees. I'm not paying it. They aren't even willing to help at all. Do yourself a favor bank somewhere else.

Worst bank , they were supposed to add my line of credit to my mortgage, specialist told me it was done, then found out 2 months later that they didn’t doit, and the specialist was no we’re to be found. Then I was sued for non payment on my line of credit, and my mortgage was put into my ex-wife’s name, I have the total. Ruined my credit, had to declare a proposal. I have every email saying it was done. They also drained my checking/savings and maxed out my visa to try and get every cent out of me. And I’m not the first person this has happened to.

I bought a new truck 3 years ago and they refused my co-signer that makes well over $350,000.00 a year. The truck is now paid off. I will never bank with Scotiabank no matter how many popcorn commercials they pay for. Everytime I talked to Scotiabank, I have not been impressed.
