We have ordered a total of 8 dishes here, and everything was delicious. My husband is no slouch in the kitchen and is from Southern Missouri. The fact that he likes the fried chicken is a genuine compliment. However, I need to have a word with the evil genius who came up with that lemon aioli for the sweet potato fries and also the super-garlicky dip for the onion rings. I already gained the Quarantine 15! Have mercy! :) But this place is seriously good, people.

I think I eat here on average 4 days a week😂 The mexican fish tacos are out of this world! And I don't even have words to describe the truffle mayo that comes with Yam fries! Love love love love it! I wish it came is bigger containers😂😂😂

My boyfriend came here last night and only had amazing things to say. We both came here tonight and honestly it was the best food and service combined at any place I’ve been at in a very long time! I highly recommend the Mexican fish tacos and the Chinese shrimp dumplings! Above and beyond service from everyone tonight

I came in with a group of friends for brunch on Saturday and was blown away by the quality of food and drinks as well as the service. The staff were exceptionally friendly and genuinely fun to talk to. Our server Jenn, was specifically incredible and she offered great recommendations in addition to just being a totally rad person to chat with. We also had a chance to meet some of the kitchen staff, and Kevin was super friendly and went out of his way to bring us free donuts. All in all this was one of the absolute best restaurant experiences I've had in any city. If you are looking for a great spot for food and drinks in downtown Winnipeg, then Local should be at the top of your list.

food wasn’t great when i went, burger was cold and the fries were very salty... and after eating there on september 11 i was informed that 9 people have been infected with covid as a result of being at this establishment and no statements have been released about this... highly concerning and poor business management to not address the concern about covid during this time. unimpressed.
