Oak Park High School

The students and teachers are rude and at times disrespectful. Barely ever say hello. This school has a high rate of vandalism. My new bike was vandalized and the principal didn't seem to care.

Amazing school with amazing staff and teachers. Has one of the best athletic programs in Winnipeg and has a new updated football field in the back of the school. Great course options with five AP courses available. There is an additional option of taking online courses through a third party program. A diverse selection of clubs to join so you'll never feel like you belong to no group. Offers dual track education from grades nine to twelve. Overall, one of the best schools in the west Winnipeg region.

I only went there for grade 10 but the fine Arts at this school was amazing. I see that the principal has changed via their website. One thing I will say is that the current (2017-2018) principal, I dealt with in junior high and is part of the reason I eventually left Winnipeg when I had the chance because when my mom and i went to the junior high about the severe bullying that was borderline assault that I was experiencing she did nothing and I fell through the cracks. This all being said take it with a grain of salt because this is just one opinion. Just thought I'd share my experiences. The school is great though, academically focused but also provides great opportunities.

I felt like it was necessary to leave a review as I'm extremely disappointed in the vice-principle of this school. I met her today for the first time and I was shocked at how rude, disrespectful and unprofessional she was. First impressions are very important and I was blown away by how I was treated by her. I simply told her I had a question to ask and she completely disregarded my presence and treated me very poorly. I would NEVER put my child in this high school.
