Beautiful, old growth pine forest on quiet 2km long island. Abundance of birds, well signed trails, picnic area, outhouses. Fascinating history. Relaxing, magical place. Access by ferry, or your own boat, canoe, or kayak. Day use only. No fires or camping permitted.

Beaubears island provides a unique experience that you can't get anywhere else, and it has something for everyone. You can hike the many trails on the island and hop on a canoe with guides or get a guided tour and learn about the rich history of the island and surrounding areas.
