Such a cool place! Food was delicious and the staff were so friendly! I had a Tipsy canoe coffee with whipped cream as well and it was delicious! Definitely a must-see if you are going to Yellowknife
Great service! It was a busy holiday Monday and even though they were turning people away at the door I never once felt rushed (by the waitress that is, I definitely rushed myself a bit because I’m the type who always feels and in those situations). Cute little spot.
Had the fish and chips and they were good and classic.
They served me the best fish taco I have ever had. Period. My son and I were fighting over the third taco on the plate, it had some kinda corn/sauce on it that is hard to describe...just simply great. The salad was very good too. We had a fish and chips that beat out most places in London. Very crispy but not greasy... Loved it. Everyone should go here.
Partner and I wanted to grab a hot drink before heading back to the hotel. Came by around 5pm today, 15th Feb, after watching the sunset across the Detaah Ice Road. When we arrived here, pretty dissapointed to see that this place was shut. Might want to update your hours for the public. Lost our business unfortunately.
We got the bison burger and bison pie and they were very delicious. It was our favourite YK meal to date! The charming log-cabin setting is uniquely Canadian. It's a pity that this place is only open in the summer.
