They work hard at service. Food was good. I'd give it 5 but no restaurant is perfect. However, Moxie's does well.
Moxie's transitioned well into 'covid' mode. While we miss some menu items...what remains is tasty with plenty of choice.
Day of appointments in Hfx. left us hungry. Picked up a part at Harley and went looking for food. Found Moxies and gave it a shot. Nice looking interior, staff who spotted us and seated us as we grabbed menus. Quick look at the menu, and we liked what we saw. Ordered a drink, craft beer for me, white wine for my partner. She went with blackened shrimp tacos 3 tacos w/4 shrimp each. She loves shrimp anything and really liked these.
Real corn taco shell, and good toppings. I had blackened chicken sandwich and fries. Good burger! Tasty, and enough bun to allow you to eat without wearing your burger. Good seasoned fries. I will go back. We saw other good looking dishes. Chimichurri steak salad almost got me. Next time.
Service was perfect and the food was bang on. My girlfriend is pregnant and was having difficulty with the booth and they found us another table even though they were very busy. Best experience I've had at a restaurant in a long time.
