The Beanery Café

Stopped in for a warm up coffee by the fireplace on a cold morning. I was happily surprised by how busy they were in the midst of Covid. They practiced safe distancing with all aspects of their service while being kind and friendly.They've completely remodeled since the last time I was in and it looks great. Much deserved success.

Stopped here for a late lunch and had their amazing lunch special of a delicious Thai chicken soup, salad, and warm cheese bun - all super tasty. (Great vegan and gluten free options as well.) The remodel they've done recently inside is also really well done and they apparently have more planned! Staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend this place!

My partner and I worked in Summerland for about a week and we stopped into this cafe often. The food & drinks are AMAZING! Everything we ate and drank hit the spot every day that we went and it's all priced very well! The ambiance & decor is done really well also! Bravooo. =)

Excellent European coffee and snacks. Still open for take away during pandemic! Love that Mocha!

Starting I would just like to say all the people working here are great and very helpful. For years, I have always loved going to the beanery; however, lately, I get more disappointed with every visit. I ordered 5 items and all of them had issues: the green emerald was sour, the matcha green tea latte was also sour, the tiramisu was still frozen, the muffin was undercooked, and the butter tart bar was freezer burnt. I'm not the kind of person that writes bad reviews, but I am very disappointed with the quality of the food after the switch of owners. Something needs to change.
