Whistler Public Library

Extremely respectable and clean as you can imagine a Whistler public library would be

This is a beautiful library. It has a wonderful community vibe which is what whistler thrives on. But.... Is the loudest Library I have ever experienced. There are 3 study areas, one is located near the open children's area, the other is by the front door which is also where group studies and meeting are conducted, the other is in the fireplace lounge which is often a place were people sit and talk. The staff are lovely and helpful but are also happy to talk at a higher level to what would normally be acceptable in a library. Noise Cancelling headphones are on offer but with them and music on loud, the noise is still very distracting while trying to complete studies.

I didn't go to the library. I was near it though.
