Lone Tree Hill Regional Park - Main Parking Lot

There is a beautiful contrast between leaving the rush of commercialism in the lower part of Mill Stream Road and looking at the 360 view from the summit. You can see just below, where you came from, and ponder simpler times, or look out across the Strait to the Olympic Mountains, ever present in their grandeur, enduring through the world’s changing scenes. Great hike with friends and family. Short and easy! Great view at the top :) Dog friendly. Parking spaces are limited but there is street parking too.

Really great short hike. Excellent views. Takes about 30mins up, with 100m. Some slippery sections of exposed bedrock. Otherwise nice maintained trail. Trail was well used by older people, young kids and dogs.

A quick hike to the top on well-maintained trails from the parking lot. Once at the top you have 360-degree views for miles around, including downtown Victoria and Mount Baker.

A short but steep hike with a very rewarding view of Victoria and The Highlands.
