Westerner Park

The westerner is one of the best diverse multi complex facilities in Alberta very wheel chair accessable and good overall parking located under 5 minutes off highway 2 and close to many restaurants and fuel locations with Hotels 10 minutes away very good access for trade people and visitors

Absolutely horrible walking there today couldn't even do the whole park as it was way to slippery sorry RedDeer little bit of gravel doesn't work 😕

They are excellent and the pickleball is great also

Many fun times here. The Fair Grounds, Live Concerts, Farmers Market, Show and Shine car shows. The list goes on

The westerner park itself is wonderful! Sure friendly people, awesome calm room etc. However, I was quite shocked and very unimpressed that there were no complimentary admissions given to support workers for youth with special needs!! A support worker is an aid that helps someone with a unique need such a vision, safety, decision-making etc. A wheelchair, cane, service dog are also support aids. Do we have to pay for those aids to attend the fair? No. So why must a support aid pay an admission when the person with the special need could not attend without their assistance?
