Vancouver Island Regional Library

I've come in a few times to work and the printer are always broken. I noticed another review mentioned the library has a funny smell, and I completely agree. Like a mixture of old books, dust, and urine. Despite all of this, I look forward to going back to take out some books and I'm hoping I change my view about the place. In my last city the library was a great, clean, quiet, and friendly place to work and read so I know I came here with some high expectations and should've expected some disappointment.

Is really sad how an amazing library lose potential. Awful smell and unsafe for kids. Education is for everyone yes but this place needs rules

Always love this place. Excellent staff and good selection, I like that I can order from another branch and watch online for it's arrival.

I find the service to be exceptional and the atmosphere very inviting. Thank you to all the wonderful staff.
